Naturally cleansing and clearing
Stimulating and refreshing
A balancing oil, useful for those suffering from a cold
An incredibly versatile oil: Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil has many aromatherapy applications. When burned or vaporised it can help to protect against airborne viruses or infections and may help to soothe the symptoms of a cough or a cold, flu, sinusitis and catarrh. It can also be blended in a carrier oil for a muscle and joint ease massage. Its stimulating properties may make it useful in helping to improve circulation and reduce muscular aches and pains (the Aborigines would have applied the crushed leaves to the skin to help ease muscular aches and pains and to help speed up the healing of wounds).
To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrance diffusers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrance.
Baths: blend 5-8 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil and add to bath
Massages: add 2-3 drops of essential oils to 1 tablespoonful of carrier oil
Vaporisation: add 2-4 drops of essential oils to a burner, aroma stone or aroma stream
